We were tired of boring hotels that felt like, well... just hotels. Where's the drama? The adventure? The feeling like you've stepped into another world?
The Forging - 2019-2020
We found this old lodge that had seen better days. Most folks saw a fixer-upper. We saw a castle waiting to happen. Spent months working with local craftspeople, blacksmiths, and artists who got our vision. Every beam, every stone, every weird little detail got obsessed over. Yeah, people thought we were crazy. Turns out crazy works.
The Grand Opening - 2021
Opening during a pandemic? Talk about a plot twist. But our first guests... man, they got it. They needed escape, adventure, something different. Watching grown adults light up like kids when they walked into their themed suites - that's when we knew we'd nailed it. This wasn't just a hotel anymore. It was somebody's favorite story.
The Expansion - 2022-2023
Added the sword combat workshops 'cause guests kept asking. Then came the tavern-style dining hall - which honestly should've been there from day one. The castle tours? That was a guest's suggestion after a few pints. We listen to our adventurers. They know what quests they wanna go on.
Today & Beyond - 2024-2025
We've hosted fantasy weddings that made people cry, anniversary trips where couples renewed their sense of adventure, and family getaways where kids still talk about "that time we stayed in a real castle." Every guest adds their chapter to our story. And honestly? We're just getting started. There's more magic to make.
